DAVID NEIMAN . President

The president of Athlete Interactive, David Neiman is a digital branding specialist with an unique understanding of athlete brands, in-depth knowledge of new media, and a locker room level comprehension of professional sports.

Since founding Athlete Interactive in 2007, David has helped some of the world's best professional athletes develop their own brands through a combination of storytelling-based branding, digital technologies and award-winning original content. In 2011, he wrote and executive produced A Week in the Life With Steven Jackson, one of five Webby Awards Nominees worldwide -- along with projects from ESPN, MLB and the Los Angeles Times -- for Best Online Sports Video.

A web development veteran, David began his career in 1996 as the Editor of PBS Online, the flagship web site of the Public Broadcasting Service. During his tenure at PBS, David and a talented team of staff and outside producers won back-to-back Webby Awards, the most prestigious accolade given on the web. In 1998, David launched his first web development company, Sketch Interactive, producing award-winning online experiences marked by rich, multimedia-driven content.

David also worked as a sportswriter for the Washington Post, Miami Herald and other publications for much of the past decade. A West Coast based correspondent, he covered every major sport at the college and professional levels, specializing in features and human interest stories.

David graduated with honors from Stanford University.
