Jerry Stackhouse is at an interesting crossroads in his career. A veteran NBA star, Jerry is nearing the end of his playing days, but can still be a valuable contributor to a pro franchise. At the same time, he is working as an NBA analyst, both on his own radio show, and on television for a number of different networks. When Jerry’s online campaign began, the goal was to position him with his existing fan base, and expose them to his work as an announcer as well. During the 2009-10 season, that meant launching a web site that focused on him primarily as a player. As the 2010-11 season began, however, we re-oriented the site -- named Stack’s House -- to emphasize Jerry as a provider of commentary and opinion. The next phase of Jerry’s branding effort will be extending Stack’s House across social media, bringing even more fans into contact with one of the most provocative analysts and hard-nosed veterans involved with the NBA.
