Our three-part web series, A Week in the Life With Steven Jackson, continues to draw the attention of the media.
Today, it's been profiled in the Wall Street Journal, the subject of both an article and in-depth, in-studio interview with Steven.
As Lee Hawkins wrote:
Steven Jackson is known around the NFL for pushing head-on through mobs of tacklers more often then he runs around them in his job carrying the ball for the St. Louis Rams.
That punishing, physical approach has earned Jackson a career average of 4.2 yards per carry, but the 6-foot-2, 236-pound powerhouse also feels the resulting pain all over his body for several days after each game. But he’s trying out a surprising new side gig – filmmaker.
While most of his fans know the game he plays is brutal, very few realize how difficult it is for players to maintain their bodies and recover from the grueling games, he said in an interview. He decided to commission a documentary to give the fans a clearer sense of what players go through.
